KevB1990
Let hear your pre-season rankings for this district. 1.CG 2.UC 3.Grainger 4.Claiborne 5.GP 6.PF Let's see, Rutledge won the last two tournament titles, McBee hasn't graduated yet and Grainger is getting picked third. Good enough for the regular season, but basketball is a tournament sport. Pre-season really doesn't matter.
charger81
CG really gonna be that good thought they lost several players to graduation. Also, heard UC lost a key starter, any truth to this?
CGCrew346
Cumberland Gap has three returning starters and their two starting seniors that left didn't bring alot to the table it is going to be a great year for this district looking forward to alot of good games. threeball
Could you please spell out the names of the teams you are referring to, just so that everyone is on the same page. Some people from around the state may not know those initials. Thanks
cneagles13
district 1 jc uc sg eliz cd hv wg sn district 2 uc cg gc chs gp pf Can't speak for District 1 but I see District 2 as follows 1. Union Co. - would change if the rumor of the point guard blowing out his knee is true. 2. GP - gelled as a team following the loss of their best player last year. Also have some athletic big men that could give teams some matchup problems. 3. Grainger - McBee's going to get his points every night. Very beatable if you don't let their role players have big nights. 4. Gumberland Gap - lost their point guard and best post. Two hard positions to replace. 5. Claiborne - not very good last year. Not sure what they have returning. 6. Pigeon Forge - lost 4 if not 5 starters off a team that was not very good to start with.
