SHOULD BE GREAT GAME. SCOTT LOOKS MUCH IMPROVED. COACH HAS A LOT OF CLASS. HE HAS DONE A GREAT JOB. WITH J.PRICE IN BOOTH CALLING PLAYS THE MAVS LOOKED MUCH BETTER. QB LONGMIRE LOOKED FOR MORE THAN ONE RECEIVER. LAST NIGHT THE MAVS WENT BACK TO USING MORE PLAY MAKERS LIKE #11 COLEMAN. HE HAD TWO TOUCHDOWNS ONE RUNNING/ONE ON A PASS FROM #7 LONGMIRE.

-History of good games between the two.

-AC usually wins it by a small margin and the refs (in accord with history) seem to play a role.

-Lying Larry vs His old shining star (David Gilllum). Two have a conflict that revolves around a big game.

-Larry has never lost to Scott.(quoted in paper saying so)

-Scott needs a signature win,

-despite their major improvements in the past few years, Scott hasn't done better than 2-5 in region play

It will be a good game, maybe even good enough for me to go to my first for the year. I wish the kids up on the mountain the best of luck. I know you've worked very hard so make it pay off. I also want to give you congrats on bringing some respect back to SHS Football. Your strides to excellence have been noted by many followers of the region. Finally, Let the BIG RED MACHINE ROLL! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
