Good list. Mine would be top 15 as follows....

1. Josh Odem

2. Justin Sylvester

3. Ashlon Adams

4. Todd Halvorsen

5. Chris Smith

6. Tyler Devault

7. Jordan Edwards

8. Corey Young

9. Carl Roberts

10. Larry Smith

11. Kid from Boone cant remember his name

12. Dustin McConnell

13. Mickey Brown

14. Clint Freeman

15. Patrick Albright

And my reasoning for these is not by points per game or whatever statistical category you can think of. My thoughts are this... if you put any of these players on one of the not as good teams in the conference they would be the best player. Take Dustin McConnell for instance... he may not have the best scoring average or highest assists, but if you but him on Volunteer, Crockett, Boone, South, ect. then he would then have one of the higher scoring averages in the conference. but since he plays for DB he is not getting as many shots so his numbers dont look quite as sexy. or if you put one of the lower echelon teams best player on Science Hill or DB that guy prob would not be as productive a player and may not even get to play much. Just my thought process im sure others may differ.

That's a good list and I like your thought process. The only downside to this list is the Freeman kid is only a Soph. or possibly a Jr. which means he will be very hard to handle when he is a senior. If we add all the players you should also add the Vannoy kid from Central. He's gonna turn some heads this year if he plays under control. Just a thought.

the vannoy kid is also a jr this year. i also agree with your thoughts on him. what about the rest of the classes who are your picks if you know of any kids that are soph, or jr. in the big nine. does anyone know why the jamboree was moved from east to d.b.?

I can tell your maturity level is not very high, therfore I assume you're not aware this is a basketball post and not a porn site. Please keep your filthy language to yourself. When you have something to say, that most mature, respectful and intelligent human beings want to hear, then you can come back and post. Until then, stay away.

i agree with you !!!!!!

Here's my list:

DB-- Justin Sylvester

Todd Halvorsen

Ashlon Adams

SC-- Carl Roberts

Tyler Devault

Mickey Brown

SH-- Josh Odem

The post Larry ?

Jameson don't know last name

SS-- Tyler Ashworth

Not sure of the other teams.

What's your opinion?

Larry Smith and Jamieson Hamilton are who you're looking for I believe. Also, don't count out Chris Smith. The lesser known of these three, he combines a very strong body type and good size with a very fast first step and great fundamentals. The rest of your list looks pretty good. Maybe Corey Young from TN High, but is he a senior? IDK, but he has been around since before I got to high school, he's still playing and I'm an 08 grad lol. Regardless, he could make all conference.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
