Guest nwtnsports
Great point. Milan got the most favorable draw, but it can be argued that top to bottom, the west quadrant isn't as strong as the other three - two of the Memphis teams have losing records. We'll just see what the Bulldogs can do. Keep up with the score of tonight's game on the "in-game updates" on the CoachT scoreboard. The game will also be broadcast on SuperTalk 97.7 FM and supertalk977.com.

coachsanderson73
I brought up that stat to compliment this year's offense, not to slight the 2003 team. Just brought up '03, because it seems that and the '99 teams are the recent standards of excellence for Milan football. But, FYI, through regular season games: 2003 - opponents' combined record 47-53, six playoff teams 2008 - opponents' combined record 46-54, six playoff teams Even though the records are similar, you can't really compare the quality of the teams unless you were actually there and saw the games that year. I started that year and the reason the records were similar to this year is because the competition in west tennessee was a lot more even and stronger in 2003. Plus with our team that year we had a more complete team and a lot stronger and better team. Not to take anything away from what this team has accomplished, but i know they couldn't hang with our team.
