#1 Grace Christian vs #2 Greenback

there is a difference between home field advantage, which means provide as much room is needed for your home field fans, the differnce being they didnt even provide a way out or in that was clean or safe.we had home field against ohs,and we wanted as many local fans as possible yes,but the visitors side was safe and well accesible,you all still had plenty of room you are the first to complain.you all have great fans always fun having you down..

yes im from greenback, came to knoxville to watch two excellent teams play against each other!! I had two boys play for greenback a few years back, just hate to see actions on both teams like i saw friday night!! If you were a grace fan or player and didn't know bear had a bad knee, what would you think?? No, respect!

As a parent of two small boys I especially liked #5 Williams flipping us all the bird at the 20 yard line closest to the scoreboard. Thanks for showing us all your true colors and I wonder which class is it they teach "how to shoot a bird" in at your Christian School? We game to play ball and leave it on the field - you threw punches and were escorted from the field - we did win the game - but we're even bigger winners in character than you'll ever be.

By the way - our back up QB was in the game with 4:34 left in the game.

seems like you can't shut your mouth mother teresa I guess if the kid did this, I don't know I was not there he did mess up and just because they are kids from a christian school doesn't mean they don't make mistakes well the last time I checked and I'm a christian I have messed up and I guess you guy's from greenback are mother teresa's and never make a mistake read your bible sweet heart even the man closet to God's heart messed up oh I guess your boy's are setting no examples what are they all lost going to h_ll and you have to save the grace team . i'm sick of every time a group of people as your character come to Grace to play you hear let's beat these little christian boy's . like we are not suppose to play football the way other teams do please. Seems like us moms have struck a nerve with a few people. If you don't want to hear the truth and it makes you sick, quit reading the boards. We all know that not all kids @ christian bible schools are Christians just like not all kids that go to "public schools" are lost. It's your choice where to send your kids. The Bible says to anger but sin not. If God lays upon any of our hearts that we have sinned in anything we do or say, then we should repent. You don't have to go to a Christian school to know the Bible. It appears that your "Christian" school has been guilty in a lot of acts to build up your sports programs. It is OK to have good sports programs, just don't let them get bigger than your "LORD". I am sorry but one would expect kids from a Christian school to act with class and dignity. I agree no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, it appears that you have one trouble maker in #5 that needs some help with his attitude. It makes the whole program look bad. Same for us, when our kids act ugly we take issue. Our coaches should get ma handle on it. It has happened to us. We have had teammates arguing with themselves and the fans were very upset over it and the kids/coaches got it fixed. SOme kids had to apologize for their actions. You have one kid that seems to be a common denominator for a lot of trouble in multiple games this year. The truth is the truth. And when he trys to drag others down with him, yeah, people are going to take issue. My son has already been told by his father that if he ever acts like that, middle of a game or no game, he will have his backside tanned and be removed from the field, whether the coaches like it or not. Character is bigger than any game. No one teaches these children any lessons by pacifying or defending it. Maybe us adults make these games so big that we help along these attitudes that winning is everything.

Lets make this loud and clear - GB has played 12 ballgames. There was only one where a player made the decision to "flip our fans off" yes a mistake but a sad fact there was only one ballgame where a player started throwing punches this all happened last night and you weren't there? Ha ha! Grace is talking about being a bad winner. Who is the one that tried to blow out teams every game (not GB). Face it you lost Can we please move on from this game....for crying out loud people we have Oneida next week. Who cares about Grace Christian? The score was 61-33 they gave good effort and and they played hard. We just came out victorious. Thats all that needs to be said.

I want to apologize for #5's actions. Yes he has made some mistakes and when things like this happens at Grace it does make the whole school like bad, I am not sure why, but it does. We have some outstanding kids that are leaders and that are on fire for God. Please don't judge us by the actions of one person.
