LCHSPanthersFan
you obviously have taken me in wrong context. i meant to watch 74 because if you don't he will give you a cheap shot. if the refs had watched him a little closer he would never have finished against waverly. got one flag for a cheap shot and could have gotten three more on the next three plays. there is a difference in playing to the whistle and playing after the whistle in which he does have watched him against others not just waverly and he does it in every game. no place for that in the game. don't get me wrong i am not saying it because waverly got beat, i am saying it because i hate to see a kid with alot of talent think he has to play that way. Dude, we get it, you think he plays dirty. He is a relentless blocker, that is for sure. He is coached to block to the whistle blows and he might have blocked some of your guys a little longer than you would like. But give it up already seriously. You all come up with the worst excuses and cry more than any group of people I have ever seen in my life. You just refuse to eat that crow you all earned by saying LC WOULD NOT!!!! win by 37 again. And we won by 41. I guess I would be bitter too. The referees are paid to handle these situations and its not up to you to police it. If he gets out of hand, he will get flagged. If he gets way too out of hand, he will get tossed and miss the next two rounds of the playoffs. I can assure you all the LC players know the rules and do their best to abide by them. #74 knows better than to get too out of hand because he doesn't want to lose his chance to play every game he can in his senior year. So just back off, enjoy the success the Tigers had this season, and go talk on their thread about next year. Stay off of here if you can't find anything else to talk about other than bashing our players who dominated you. By the way, the "cheap shot" he got flagged for last night was a head butt he gave a kid that was pursuing the ball carrier and it occurred right after the whistle. Its not like he ran all the way across the field to take out one of your kids' knees or something. I am normally a very mild poster that stays away from controversy on here, especially the dumb stuff that comes up. But I also support our kids and I am sick and tired of you calling our players dirty.
TropicalStorm
Just keep this in mind. Last year, Trenton had 48 points combined scored on them last year. At halftime, GP was winning 49-0. Don't underestimate the Cougars.

LC hasn't underestimated anyone all year, no need to start now.

Don't underestimate the Cougars. Don't think there is a chance of that happening to Lewis County. The last time they played them...... I believe they were beat 48-0, so don't think anyone will. Most don't give LCHS a chance here. I think CPA is planning on playing them again. Both Fairview and Lewis are considered underdogs!

udontwantit
Lewis Co we have faith in ya!! We know you CAN GIT-UR-DONE!! Just need to watch the penalties and not shoot ourselves in the foot. Seniors-step up and lead. Only you can determine whether you are done or not. Goodpasture is a good team and it's time for a test.

mbsdude
Not playing a difficult non-region schedule has always hurt LC in the playoffs. Its usually one and done. I wander if it will be any different this year. I know the cougars are young this year but that tradition is hard to beat.
JAC64
i remember the game cause i was on the field in 06 at goodpasture and we got beat by 48 and i hope that we can get some revenge after that terrible showing in

And for good reasons. Goodpasture and CPA will meet again at CPA next week.
JohnJohn
The Sonny Moore Poll has Lewis Co. as a 7 point favorite. Massey predictions has Lewis Co. by 11. Earl Nall's poll has Lewis Co. as a significant favorite. Also Murphy Fair picked Lewis Co. Friday night, on the Nashville radio show, to go to at least the Semi's. The favorites shoe is on the other foot from 2006.
