This is a great district for cross-town rivalries. The Red Bank - Tyner game will be interesting. I can't remember the last time they played.

Schedule provides some interesting match-ups with proximity rivals Tyner, Brainerd and East Hamilton. old foes Red Bank, Hixson. Then you have the brother battle opening night as Seq/Central square off. Finally, player vs. former coaches as Central plays against Silverdale and East Ridge.Should make for a fun year

Come on know t-mac it take you that long to think up a reply! We must have been at two different scrimmages b/c Howard only scored once on Central if that is scoring at will you underestimate yourself. Second the Howard D had no clue on stopping the veer offense as the Qb had near 100 yards or more in the scrimmage. We all know that AAA you guys were playing in was considered the weakest in TN. How many playoff games did the teams in there win again? Other than Notre Dame who has made it past the 2nd round in your region since it was formed? Good luck to you guys this year except Week 2!!

And trust me Polk runs the veer way better than you and when we make it to the playoffs we play the Nashville area teams which are solid as can be. You guys will get what you are asking for just wait and see. Good luck on this season and win a few games before you talk trash

Nothing like a little trash talk to liven up the off-season. Believe what you will there t-mac, but coach B has been running and coaching the veer for a LONG time going back to his days as an assistant at Marion Co. So i would say he runs it as well as anyone. As far as Dehart at QB in the veer offense you usually put your best athlete in the QB position since he will touch the ball more that way, anyway it will be an intense matchup week 2 down at Howard no doubt. The Tigers have good athletes and will bring it but so will the Pounders. CHS is looking at this year as a turn year in their program as they return 19 of 22 starters from last years team that was very young(only 5 Srs. with only 4 seeing significant playing time). Hey T-mac when is Howard going out in spring? Do you know who they are scrimmaging?

Howard doesnt scrimmage in the spring they just lift and run. Dehart would have been a good #3 Reciever for us this year. he was such a good reciever we were glad he left because he had sticky fingers /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

t-mac, saw Coach Culter at CCS track meet saturday and he said they were going out at the end of April. So the spring will be mainly conditioning for the Tigers? As we are new to the District who is returning for the Tigers this year?
