Not what I've been reading.

I don't know what you've been reading, but Hampton and Cloudland are clearly the measuring sticks for District 1. Tonight's 15 point win by the Dawgs makes it Hampton's 10th straight victory in the series between the two schools. Hampton and Cloudland will also face off in the Boys AND Girls District Championships. Meanwhile, Unaka is probably gonna finish the tournament in 4th and the Lady Rangers are already at the house thanks to an 18 point defeat by University High. Hampton may have had some problems this past week, but it is clear that the Rangers have a few of their own (Jordan Taylor quitting, the Lady Rangers losing by 18 to UH, the Lady Rangers committing 3 intentional fouls in the final minute against UH). In the past 3 years in boys basketball, girls basketball, and football, Hampton and Cloudland have combined for a 32-6 record against the Rangers. And the best part is that 4 of those 6 Unaka wins were by Kenneth Chambers...

L Vader, can u give insight on the Taylor boy? Assumed he was sick when i didnt see him in tourney games. is this the son of the principal you are talking about? interesting, but sad. he is a big guy who needs to be in the game.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
