Congratulations to CPA guard Hunter Miller for breaking the CPA career scoring record tonight previously held by Travis Sikes ('01-'02 - '04-'05). Miller scored 30 in CPA's drubbing of McGavock, topping 1,953 to set the record. Z Mason, Miller's fellow senior teammate is close behind him, but I'm not sure on his exact number. Miller has been a starter since his freshman year, and scored 44 in one game as a freshmen. Mason however, didn't start playing until his sophomore year, and will end up as #1 or #2 in career scoring despite a lost year. If they continue at their current pace, both Miller and Mason will surpass 2,000 career points. That is quite a remarkable feat for a pair teammates in the same class. When this season is over, CPA's senior class will have a pair of 2,000 point scorers, a 1,000 point scorer in senior David Anderson, and broken records in virtually every individual and team stat category. Again, congrats to Hunter Miller on his record-breaking night, and for 4 incredible years as one of the best players in CPA history.

congrats to all three! thats definitely something to be proud of. any idea where anderson and miller are playing ball in college?

Anderson has decided not to pursue playing college ball from what I understand. Miller has offers from Florida Gulf Coast U., and Jacksonville. He has interest from and will probably get offers from Air Force, Columbia, Eastern Kentucky, UT Martin, and North Florida. A coach from Columbia was at CPA's practice today, and a UT Martin coach came by to see Hunter last week.

How tall is Hunter.. when i played him he was really short but that was a long time ago.

6'1'' or 6'2'', and he has big time ups for a white kid, although he could stand to put some weight on. Most people don't know that Hunter can dunk with ease now. It's just a matter of time till he throws one down in a game, he just hasn't had many break away chances to do it, playing point guard with Z in the post makes it tough. And on the 2 great chances he's had, he's gotten flagrant fouled on both. He's been cramming it in practice every day for the last 2 years. Hopefully he gets one before his high school career is over.
