Anyone know the spring scrimmage schedule of these Sumner Co. powerhouses?

 

 

WH will do extremely well...will compete with GP for championship. I would consider WH a powerhouse.

 

Westmoreland will struggle due to playing tougher competition. If they are 3A, they will not even be guaranteed a place in the playoffs but will if they can beat a few teams in this tough region....which I dont see them beating GP, WH, Syc, or GB. I would not consider Westmoreland a "powerhouse" much longer. Times are a changing for them.

 

1-2. WH or Goopasture

3-4. GB or Syc

5. Westmoreland

6. Macon

I consider Greenbrier a 1 or 2 year wonder. They are now average at best. Dont know much about Sycamore but from what I hear they are very beatable. We play Macon every year so no surprises there. WH and GP are the teams to beat. With our new coach things will be very interesting in Motown this season.

I consider Greenbrier a 1 or 2 year wonder. They are now average at best. Dont know much about Sycamore but from what I hear they are very beatable. We play Macon every year so no surprises there. WH and GP are the teams to beat. With our new coach things will be very interesting in Motown this season.

 

 

Mr. Postman; Get ready for some good ole time smashmouth leather helmet football! Coach Bradley is the real deal & ya'll are gonna have a good season.

 

Believe me, when I say leather helmet, I mean it. There will be grandpa's in the stands that will smiling and flashback to their playing days...

Sounds good to me. We are kind of used to smashmouth football in these parts so he should fit right in.

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.

      5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
