Coalfield is good but they are no where near good enough to even play with Clarkrange nor will the be Boro bound, but best of luck to both teams.

Coalfield is a good team this year...they have a lot of growing to do, but I believe all of their players will be back next year. But for this year, to say that they are not capable of playing with CR nor 'Boro bound is pretty harsh considering Coalfield played it close with OS both games. I think Coalfield can play with the CR team...they will have to play their very best game...but it is possible for it to be competitive, like OS.We'll see if Coalfield has the drive they need to compete at state level in the next few games. I don't know if it will be much of a game, but I think it could be if Coalfield gives it their best.

I agree, never count anyone out. I still believe they will have a tough time beating CR. If I remember last time, most of the game was our bench against your starters. Good Luck Lady Buffaloes.

Like I stated in my earlier post, Coalfield is nowhere near ready for the Boro yes it's harsh but look at that score. OS stayed in the CR game and could have won it if they kept up their intensity the whole time. I am not downing Coalfield it's just not the year, more likely next year will be their year.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
