Shooter1
Ok, while the argument for Tiechman is half valid, if Kelly had not played for Centennial, Centennial would have won 4 games +-1! He is hands down the MVP of this district and I think its biased for someone to say otherwise. kelley is a great player, but they didn't win that many games with him. Last year they played better when he was out with an injury and it almost seemed that Mclemore was more important to the team than Kelley. It seems that they are more concerned with getting Kelley shots and point than winning ball games.Great player yes, MVP for the district no. bricedrew
Even a Franklin fan can admit: Kelly MVP 30 PTS A GAME IS IMPRESSIVE
franklinrebelsfan
I agree Kelly for MVP although Tiechman is a really really close 2nd! I was impressed with him last Friday at Brentwood!

And thats what you call being biased. I follow all three Franklin area teams (Franklin, Indy, and Centennial) equally and can hands down say after having watched every team in the district play at least once this year, and having watched both Kelly and Tiechman over the years, Kelly is by far superior over the rest for MVP of the district. And yes they did win that many games with him. McLemore didn't play this year due to the fact that he graduated in 2008. And Kelly won a ton of ball games for them last year too. Kelley did score the most points and won the scoring title, but the MVP should come from one of the top 3 teams that were fighting for the district championship.Haddix,Carden, and Tiechman all deserve it more because their teams were in the championship race til the end. franklinrebelsfan
I would love to see Haddix get MVP. He's such a great guy! If nothing else he is HANDS DOWN MOST IMPROVED!!

Great comment and I totally agree! But I would probably have to give MVP to (1) Tiechman or (2) Carden. They are great TEAM players, and their teams are at the top. Kelly has taken his team straight to the bottom of the district. . .

Take Kelly out of the picture and they win 4 games.

Not too good of a record for an MVP's team!
IndyEagles
Top Tier Teams: Franklin (3): James Haddix, Michael Young, Peyton Henry Brentwood (3): Kyle Teichmann, David Hood, Kevin Bach Indy (2): Blake Carden, Ryan Eilermann Bottom Tier Teams Hillsboro: Arthur McMillan Centennial: Drew Kelley (MVP) Ravenwood: Richmond Watkins Overton: Patrick McPhail Hillwood: none Top Coaches: Coach King Coach Johnson I watched the Franklin-Centennial game on TV today. Kelly is the best player in 11-AAA. No doubt. Also, impressive comeback by FHS.......but Indy will take the tourney, ha!
Jim Harrick
Hey Indy: Too bad Franklin grabbed the regular season district crown. I know that hurts.
