I think the offense he is wanting to run, came out of California, The coach that wrote the book has initials of J.V. Coach Sellers, if you are on here any let me know if I am right. Love to talk with you about it. Been studying the system for a while. If it is what I think it is you are going to give people alot of trouble, around here, because other than one coach I know, no one else has seen it. Good luck to you and Charlie.

Jerry Vallaton wrote "The Toss". It's the double wing offense. You may be thinking of something else, but that's what it sounds like. Pop Scooby Warner is the inventor of the formation, but Don Markham really added a lot to it. This offense still holds the 10 and 14 game season national single season scoring record. Don Markham's teams from Bloomingdale, CA scored 880 points in a 14 game season with it. We ran it at Lancaster Christian Academy this past year. We went 10-0 as an independent. We had over 3700 yards rushing and scored 398 points. I am leaving LCA and moving to Florida to take over another program, so I doubt they will be running the DW next year. It's a great offense and it's very flexible.

God bless

This sure sounds fishy to me. When a coach is hired less than a week after the former coach is forced to resign without any coaching search whatsoever, it stinks of a setup. Now I don't have any facts to support my argument and I have not spoken to anyone at ND but I hope this new coach did not stab Wiggins in the back to get the job.

That is what I am talking about, the book used is about $120. I can't wait to get the chance to run it. What part of Florida are you going to, I would love to move down there. My wife and I are positioning ourselves to retire down there.

I hope this is not the case but if it is true you can bet those coaches in Chattanooga will get some payback for Coach Wiggins. He is highly respected in the area and coaching is a fraternity.

Guys, I think the world of Charlie, he has been applying for jobs for the last two years, he is moving on, ND moving on. That's it in a nut shell. Lets move on! Good luck to both Coaches. Charlie will land solid on his feet I promise you.

He has not been applying for jobs the last two years. However if someone wanted to talk to him he would not ignore them. Know that for a fact in one case in particular.

You can order the book directly from JV for about 30 bucks. It's a homemade copy but it's the complete copy. Just find his website and you can order there. We are moving to the gulf coast about 1 hour west of orlando.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
