No starter is over 6'1. A guard oriented team that is better than they played in the district tournament. How did Houston Co. get so much better so quick?

The PG is starting to really come on,first year starter. They had one post player that was out for most of the year, this will be his third game back, another post player that has only played for a year and a half and yet another that was a football player and had never played BB before. They seem to be really coming together all at the same time. The lineup that they have been playing primarily is a lightning quick PG,a 6'1 SG that has crazy range, then the front line is 6'3 220 lbs,6'6 and really skinny, and 6'6 and really skinny, they have five more off the bench that play alot, one kid starts and is the aggressive hustling rebounding type but he plays less than big guys. They have a couple of sharpshooters off the bench.

I believe the loss that Clarksville Academy had in the District tournament was the best thing that ever happened to them. HC has unleashed a lion and I would not want to be in its path. Very possibly the Regional Champion Lion.

10 A wins 3 in the first round.

ncs will do better next year.

Good Luck to all .

Injury free play.

I hope you are correct on all of your predictions except one, that being Cascade. I think Cascade is finished. They did not play with any emotion during the district playoffs, except for the one player who likes to throw punches.

Yes, I too want to hear more about the player that likes to throw punches???? That would not go over at all with our crowd in our gym.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
