Loudon swept AC in the regular season but AC has got the elliott girl back.

I take AC in this one in overtime by 4.

Anderson Co is a different team than regular season. We beat them easily with elliott out with knee injury. Whitney is 30% of their scoreing. Should be a close game , Did you notice all the top players on both teams are former Raiders AAU players? Mardessa and Janell included. Dang it, I got the overtime and the win right, just didnt get amount of defeat right. Can't always be perfect.

Congrats to the Lady Mavs and good luck to Stone, Loudon, and CAK the rest of the way.

Yes, good guess! I would like to say, that I know Loudon was disappointed, however, their actions after the game were poor sports. When the team was announced for runner up, they all just sat there. The coach got up, took the trophy and they just sat there. No one got up, clapped, or took pics. I understand they were upset, etc., but they did not even clap when AC was announced either. Come on gals! You played a good game.

Hey, does any one know how the all tourney team is picked? I thought in the past it was based on points and how you played in the district games, and the top 4 teams. However, this year proved to be different.

I was wondering the same thing. Thought Leslie Brown or Taylor Smith from Stone should have got it over Dishman. It seemed that both of them had a better tournament than Destiny. Even though this is a girls forum, I also thought that Zack Sherrill should have got the MVP instead of Kiser in the boys ship.

I actually seen the paper the all tournament team was listed on. If Loudon had won, Janelle Menard was going to be the MVP. How can you almost be the MVP and not be on the all tournament team. It would have been the same if Loudon had won. Hickson would have been left off the team.

There was a tournament committee. I know who was on the committee and didn't think they did a good job at all and that is on the boys side also. I find it hard to be on the all tournament if your team finishes 5th or 6th in the tournament. Janelle Manard should have definately been on the all-tournament team.

I don't understand how they left Janell Menard off of the all tourney team either! Especially if she was going to be MVP is Loudon had won. They got this one wrong...

I agree - Leslie Brown or Tayler Smith should have been over Dishman. They both had great games, scoring in the 20's and rebounding. I also agree that Janell and Whitney Elliott should have been in there, they both made their teams win! I am not sure what games the board saw, but not the same ones the fans did!
