Pigeon Forge vs. Elizabethton

Things have been a little quiet in Pigeon Forge since the Coach Conchita Johnson and Kendra Newman days. How good is this Pigeon Forge team? Elizabethton had a couple of big regional wins over Pigeon Forge a few years back, but it has been awhile since they have played. District 2 AA has been awful quiet on these boards all year. Can anybody tell us something about Pigeon Forge?

Ms. Newman had a good carrer at VIC. She set the career 3 point shot record.

 

Pigeon Forge has a solid team. I think they are 23-8 and have a solid team. I know Kilgore and Webb are good players and Coach Regan has done a great job.

coachh17, from what I gather PF plays a pressure defense, and attempts to wear teams down by the fourth quarter.

Apparently thats what happened to CD friday night. They also appear to be a team that takes care of the ball.

Only AA team to beat them this year is Seymour. Attached are a couple recent articles on them.

Cyclones just play your game . they cant match up to your inside , they will pressure you on the outside , and pressure you in half court. Ive enjoyed watching all the girls that have come and gone in the past 4 years GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Elizabethton started by making one of their first sixteen shots and only scored 1 point in the first quarter. Once they warmed up, it was no contest. District 1 was much stronger than District 2 this year. Go Cyclones!!!!!!
