We were classy. and you say your fans were not taunting!?!?! we started chanting "Long ride home" because you had an ignorant student come over to us and ask to fight. in this case.. he was not only unclassy but also stupid..

 

And if you were one of the moms standing next to the locker room.. i walked by and was called a hethen!

ran out on top of your girls!? i didnt touch any of them and nobody did.. we were celebrating with our girls.... THE RIGHTFUL WINNERS not trying to "trample" yours."

 

And your fans' posts earlier say your district have the best fans and loudest and craziest.. but you have never seen a storming of a court... sounds like your district is pathetic....

 

First of all quit using the bold blue type...it's really annoying and second you can't judge a whole district by one game and one team. Our district is far from pathetic. But if you knew anything at all about basketball you would already know that. Your team won...congrats leave at that and don't run your mouth about something you obviously know nothing about.

This is from a non-biased bystander that was at the game. The refs did call a tight game. Madison is really good at appearing to get fouled whether they do or not. Once a couple of fouls were called tight, Bradford got frustrated and fouled some more. Bradford looked to be the more talented team, but Madison coach Patterson seem to make better moves. Madison was in foul trouble also and he just constantly shifts girls in and out to keep them out of foul trouble. Madison is also a senior-laden team that knows what to do when they get a lead. There were multiple possessions that they made 15 or more passes, I know because I counted some of them. Madison has Faulkner and that alone will keep them in any game. If you think back to the end of the half, where Bradford took an ill-advised shot with 13 or so seconds and Madison comes down and hits a three to take the lead going into half time... this changed the whole game. Yes, there were some fouls that were called that shouldnt have been and some that werent called, but they are human and going to make mistakes. Neither team shot free throws very well at all. Bradford... how many turnovers did you have?? how many missed free throw??? If they were really trying to cheat you out of a game, do you really think it would have been a six point game? Again, part of Madison's game is to get in your head and one way they do that is making it look like they get fouled, whether or not they do. It was apparent from the beginning that they were going to play physical... yet no adjustment made when it was called tight and were still trying to drive through the lane... knowing a charge would prob be called... also on defense with a constant hand check and reaching.

 

Congratulations to both teams on a sub state berth. Madison found a way to win and thats something they have done all year.

Congrats to Madison..From what I see they got a good bracket..Although there won't be any easy teams..they stayed away from Clarkrange until the finals if they win their first two games and will play Pickett Co,the number 4 team in their district I believe..Also ..from what I'm reading Pickett Co has lost a player to a knee injury...Still ..Pickett Co must be playing good ball or they wouldn't be at this stage..But at the same time..Madison has to feel good about their chances to being in the finals !

I like Madison's chances to make it to the championship game, they got a great draw. Good luck to Madison, I hope you go all the way and meet Lake County in the finals. Clark Range is the heavy favorite but everybody can be beat.

 

Thank you mrcballer22 for an inbiased report of the game. That is what I was told by others that were at the game. Coach Patterson is a good coach and did what it took to beat Bradford. Bradford only knows one way to play and that is physical. Coach Paschall even said in the paper that the referees didnt beat Bradford, missed free throws did. I do appreciate some of the Bradford fans that have gotten on Coach T and showed class by wishing Madison well.

Okay Maniac, I think everyone can see just from your comments how classy YOU are. No, there was no one standing at the girls locker room calling anyone a hethen. The cops were standing there and I think if that was going on, they would of stopped it. Yes, I did talk to two teachers there, and I am glad to say that there are some people at Madison that can admit the truth that the refs were not calling a good game.

After seeing your last comments, I do hope that maybe you are a student, because I would really hate to think that an adult thinks and talks the way you are.

What matters is that Madison come out at the end, the winner. Just sad, that it could not of been a fair win and Bradford would of left saying that Madison was the better team and won. That was not what happened, but at the end, it does not matter. Nothing can change the way the refs were, and Madison is going to state.

Congrats Madison on winning physical game yall hung in there and didn't get rattled good job! Bradford lost the game from missed free throws. Although, I will say the way Bradford plays is like every other team in there district tough and physical. I'm not saying nothing about the way the game was ref'd it was called fair throughout the whole game other than one here and one there. Congrats!

You guys have got to be kidding. Bradford went further than they should have. They beat up and bang every night but they are not a very good basketball team and to get on here and criticize the referees while you listen to the game on the radio. Wow!

Well Madison fans I have managed to keep quite this week on here, but now I do believe its time for me to speak up! (Just incase you didn't hear me at the game!) I'm not hear to complain about the refee's even though it was clearly opposite who they wanted to see at state! But never-the-less the game is over, and thats that! Madison might have won the game, but they would have never won the fight! And since all the Madison fans want to talk about how rude and rough the Bradford fans I think we should just discuse some of the Madison fans behavior! Crowding and pushing our girls going into the locker room at the half, and o maybe charging the floor after the game leaving the Bradford girls trapped in the middle! Whether they meant to do it or not is beside the point they still did it! Aw and the whole sending the cops to Bradfords side was nothing but adding fuel to our fire! We seen yall hiding behind them the whole time! Maybe if yall would get out from behind the cops and actually stand up and mouth in front of us yall could have a little better reputation as a team that has some guts! Our girls play physical because they are a real ball team that plays in a real district! Who has Madison played this year? Where any of them past state champs? I honestly don't think so! Bradford has a tough stout district that requires some physical play that obiviously the refess aren't used to along with the Madison fans! Yall should just be lucky it didn't get as rough as it could! Obiviously Bradfords girls would have beat them all over that court if they could have, and that would have gone the same way with the fans if it would have gotten that heated!

Triple p man says it all no need to say any more madisons fans acted fools by rushing the court and trampling all over are girls!! that is enough to make any fan parent or anyone for that matter upset !! The townn of bradford sticks together and when we see are girls getting run over we will do something about it but madison fans proved to be cowards just as i expected trample are girls and when the Bradford fans take to the court it was like a snap ot the finger madison was gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
