After 3 Hours with Cascade our boys stayed on the field, But think what you what to. OK look at your schedule. There are maybe 4 or 5 good teams on there. When you are beating everyone by 9 or 10 runs or more thats not good baseball, thats just playing weak teams. When you lose to CA and tie Cascade, im not saying your a bad team you have a good team to continue winning all the games you have won, but honestly were they all against region, sub state or state teams?? And for your information you did no better than Summertown last year, 3 and out is what i believe happened to both. And yes you can EXPECT to see Summertown back in state this year, more prepared than they were last year.

Summertown is an excellet team. Moore county is starting to play ball. They beat Cornersville yesterday and today they beat Columbia Academy. Gage Garner pitched 7 innings throwing 83 pitches. CA had 4 hits. Summertown squeeked by Moore by 1 run Saturday. Moore could upset someone.

Who pitched for CA against MTCS?

 

 

I am not good with names. I think 4 or 5 different guys pitched. They had trouble finding the K zone. Did not seem that they were hitting like I thought that they would. Only had 2 hits. In their defense they had played at Moore county and then had to travel to Murfreesboro and play us. No doubt that Coach Eddie will get the most out of his guys. He is a great coach so I would never count them out.

Moore Co. is not a bad team, they have a smart coach. They knew wat to throw aganst Summertown to shut down ther bats for few innings. Their record is not a real reflection of how good they are.

Concerning CA, MTCS is a puzzling loss, didn't think they were very good.

 

Also saw where MTPS beat Cascade with a freshman pitcher, whats up with that?

 

 

Actually we are very good defensivly however we have struggled at the plate. The coaches are still tinkering with the lineup trying to figure it out. Like all teams we hope to get it figured out by tournamanet time.

 

Having played Cascade I can tell you that they have a solid team Their coach has done a good job with them and in having them play above their level. You can only do that for so long and eventually someone will sneak up and beat you. Look at the NYY, best team money can buy and they are only playing .500 ball. That is why you play the game...... Any given day!!!

      Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.

      What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
