Hows the district shaping up 3 weeks in?

Marion County beat hixson tonight 16-4

Hixson 3-2 at Sequatchie tonight. 2-2 and Hixson went ahead by one in the fifth or six. They had three hits and one earned run but they all count, earned or not. Sequatchie had 5 hits.

lets here it, Squatch............ a day after marion exploded late and dismantled the wildcats, the injuns get beat at home???? Wow............guess you guys will have to sweep Marion now to win the district!! INJUNS are quite, must be in their tee pees!!!

Hixson used a different pitcher than yesterday and they weren't kicking the ball over the field the way it sounded against Marion. Every game/matchup is different, that's why they play them. Even with a sweep over the Chattanooga teams, Sequatchie would have likely needed a sweep over Marion to avoid a valley tie but there's plenty of ball to be played before then.

Who pitched for Hixson and who pitched for Sequatchie?

Duncan for Hixson and Bryant for Sequatchie. Each did a good job.

Marion had four errors as well in that game against hixson. It wasn't like they were the only ones making errors.

I was talking about the 16 runs scored. Sequatchie and Marion had about the same number of hits against Hixson. Hixson's pitcher yesterday did a good job and I just saw his record is 2-0, maybe they should use him more often or maybe he's had some no-decisions. The bottom line is the win or the loss and Hixson got it last night. That doesn't mean Sequatchie will go into a tailspin over one game.

who's running their mouth now. you will see us soon enough. 16 runs on 6 hits sounds to me like hixson had a few more errors than you did.

 

how we got beat was errors in the first inning, that allowed 2 runs.Hixson's pitcher did a good job last night, he kept our guy off balance all night. the third run was knocked in with a 0-2 count too good of a pitch.
