If we beat you will Jasper be overrated? We did get blowed out against Bradley and you would have also. The Rhea game we didn't get blowed out it was

3-2 going into the sixed and we fell apart

, partly because Rhea's coach caught us off guard. When it's all said and done you will have only faced 3 maybe 4 teams with a winning schedule, that will not help you get far in the playoffs. Too much of a muffin schedule. If Red Bankk is overrated play them.

 

Coach Roberts must have Marion doing something right as they've been to state the last two seasons and they win the district year in and year out. So those "muffin" teams they're playin seem to be paying off.

Any way, after this year they will have nothing to talk about and they know it. And there will be no state this year Jasper, or next. Sequatchie has just as much talent or more than Jasper, the one difference is Jasper has had a good coach for several years and Seq has not: until now. For that reason we are at least 2 years behind most good teams, but the funny thing is we still have a shot at beating you guys, at least once.

Jasper will be tougher than one might think. The jury is still out on our team, we need to cut down on errors in the field and on bases. Since Jasper has beaten Hixson, so we need to at least split with them. Having said that, Seq needs to focus on Bledsoe and the other district games before we meet Jasper.

its funny that Marion in the past few years have played probably one of the top schedules in the area. Roberts hasn't ever backed down from a challenge schedule wise. The difference in Marion's talking is that they have been backing it up. State semis in football, swept the Mighty indians, who most seq supporters said were a favorite in the district, and two straight state tourneys in baseball. The Indians talk is simply that.............just talk. You say that the indians are equal to the warriors on the diamond, but how long has it been since they have beaten the warriors?? little league maybe?? I will tell you what though, keep on running those flappers and eventually yall will win a game against Marion and we will all get to here you brag about how you told us so.................lol.

There is a lot of baseball to be played before these two teams meet. The games are going to be fun. I hope to see the Indians and Coach Roberson do well this year. Of course I would like to see a sweep again this year. I hope both teams come into this game healthy. We will see what happens in about three weeks.

Everyone knows who i am on here, no need for me to hide behind a screen name. 10 - 0 in the fourth huh?? Too bad the games have to go at least five to be complete. Mother nature sometimes smiles on Marion I guess. The umpires call the games not the coaches, so don't blame that monsoon on marion not wanting to fix the field. What happened the next night after that rainout? I hope Seq does well this year except when they play marion. We all just get tired of you seq. players/fans saying that you just now got a good coach and blah blah blah. Keep hanging your hat on a win over a 3-8 red bank team and we will see you guys in a bit!!
