I would say more than likely that their record reflects a weak schedule. Remember, the pirate baseball team has had some extremely difficult times lately. Coach Stone has assembled a very fine staff and has a good group of freshmen to help mold in the next few years. I think a week schedule is exactly what they need for the young ones to get some confidence. Lookout in the coming years, the Pirates will be extremely dangerous!!

they have a young squad and have some holdovers from a young team last year that have and will help them. plus they have some legit baseball men in charge of the program now. a weaker schedule is what they need now but this bunch is gonna be good i'll say.
