Not possible for four teams in a District to state. Only two teams get out of Region.

7A will be very balanced next year with CR, JC, PC, and CC all fighting it out. Should be an interesting year.

7A did not dominate this year, Clark Range dominated this year. Pickett County was a nonfactor in the state tournament and they came out of 7A. Four of the 8 teams at the state tournament couldnt have made it out of 14A district and Pickett County was one of those four teams.

 

7A was no power conference this year.

Clark Range returns 2 starters..

Jackson Co. returns all starters.

Pickett Co. returns Garner-Garrett-Gibson, the three Gs

Clay Co. needs to be evaluated in January.

good point greenfield fan but JC like Bradford got upset in region by PC which was forth in 7a and on most nights the same could be said that the 14a teams this year couldn't make it out of district 7a either because JC was only team to hold C'range to single digits and the lady buffaloes were by far the best team and wasn't even challenged in state ,

I think we should just call District 7A the State Championship and not let anyone else play....what's the use??????

We are all defeated before the season ever starts. Maybe we can take up something else that would be more beneficial----maybe knitting ????

Both districts, 14A & 7A have a storied tradition. Those two districts have won more Gold & Silver Balls than all the other Class A districts in the state combined.

From what I have can seen and can tell there will be no powerhouse like the 09 Clark Range team next year in girls basketball, it looks like it is wide open to me.

 

Of course a couple of transfers could make a big difference. We will see how this off season goes.
