I believe Powell was the best team in the tournament. How long has it been since Powell won the championship. I know they got runner-up to halls last year.

 

Thanks Rico and good luck to Halls next week. I think I remember reading on the side of Powell's concession stand that 2000 was their last district championship, but I'm not sure if that was league or tournament champions.

I believe that the 2000 reference was the last tourney title that Powell won. Powell won the regular season district in 2004 with the Cole Patrick/Dustin Plumlee/Kevin Herman/Derek Treece led senior class.
