Miller was a great coach. His players loved him. He was screwed by the principal and the administration. You see how well they did this year with almost the entire team coming back and a cake schedule, without him.

Go ahead and tell your story if you feel you were unfairly treated. Don't pretend to be someone else and call yourself a great coach and say you got "screwed".

Is Coach Hanlon gone? I have not heard the news if he has been fired or quit. Or as most of the stuff on here is it just rumors?

Just a rumor as Hanlon told me he is looking for assistants in an email late last week.

I was a little confused for a minute. I didn't think the new football coach had resigned; maybe he can build something and stay awhile. But it did look like their new basketball coach won a few games this year. I think the guy before him had a record of like 2-200 or something like that. It kinda seems like Oakdale is a tough place to coach.

Its both a tough place to coach and they have a hard schedule. (for them) Oakdale is a nice place to be. I just wish the football team would be better. If the kids tried out and played, and not play because "they suck" they'd be a good team. I always like going to see them play. Good old fashion football. Go Eagles!
