Based on record, strength of schedule and head-to-head results. A lot more should be learned this weekend at the Soddy tournament. Losses to out of state teams don't factor into it too much.

After some results the past 2 or 3 days, swap Ooltewah and Soddy-Daisy, move Sweetwater up one spot. I haven't seen the Central-Ooltewah result yet.

How is GPS doing, have not heard much about them this year.

A last at bat loss is not necessarily grounds to swap them at this point though I do think Soddy is probably the top team...Ooltewah did beat Central 3-0...

They have only played about 8 games so far this year, none of them against anybody worth watching.

They are 6-3 after winning yesterday against Marion Co. according to the newspaper...They lost to Soddy earlier and must have lost a couple in a tournament...Don't know though....

I agree that Ooltewah is #1 ... but I would move Grace Academy up a couple of notches. Their pitcher Layce Walker is amazing! She is almost untouchable. They are very impressive for a Single A school. Does anyone have Layce's stats for the year? just wondering.

Grace did lose to Chattanooga Christian which is third in their AA district right now. I'd have Soddy-Daisy, Ooltewah and GPS still as the top 3. Sweetwater would have been easier to evaluate had their Crossville tournament not been rained out.
