How long does it take you to drive to Shelbyville? If you thought you were going to get the first game in at four, then you don't cancel the second game until you have a reason, especially that far in advance.

Frankly I commend them for making a decision and sticking to it.

It is easy to second guess after the fact. If the downpour that was forecast had occurred we would have all been complaining about driving down there and not getting to play.

 

 

It's like I said at noon when I first heard of this ludicrous decision, if we were going to Lawrenceburg or Columbia, or even Fayetteville, I'm all for a decision earlier in the day. Although I think noon might be a tad early to scratch a 6 o clock game without rain falling no matter where you are going. But Shelbyville is a 25 minutes trip. It isn't a second guess from me, I thought it was a terrible choice as soon as it was made. I understand where you are coming from about making the trip and then not playing, but it isn't much of a trip. So move the first game up to four, then at four give the radar a glance and then call Terry and let him know something. CC shouln't be leaving until around that time anyway. Or even 3 p.m. decision for the second game. Obviously decisions on the first game need to be made sooner. 7-AAA will not be playing Sunday, even if it rains tomorrow, it will not be playing Sunday they will go by seeding. So CC and LC will be using pitching the day before the big game. ... oh well, no turning back now. Let's just hope it works out. I will see everybody on mother's day lol.

Lincoln County is going to be very good in softball for the next couple of years, we only lost 2 players this year and were keeping all of our picthers. Its going to be good to be a Falcon for the next couple of years in softball
