BC who all didn't play?

I know J Toney didn't, who else??

Soccer and Track are still going on.

Toney didnt because of track like you mentioned, Nathaniel robinson-injury, Lajuan Warfield-sick, joe cooper-soccer are the main ones that didnt play. Toney and Robinson are both starters with toney possibly being alcoas best player on offense. Warfield is a soph wr who has had an outstanding spring and will be one of alcoas best playmakers. Cooper adds depth on both sides of the line(TE-DL).

With Jaron Toney, out Darrell Warren got a lot of carries at RB. He runs with a lot of power. Vanderbilt Hambrick ran the ball well and has similar moves to Toney and good down field vision.

Warfield and Isom at WR caught the ball well, but Tallant needs to speed up his passes. Most of the deep throws floated or hang too long in the air. One pass that floated was intercepted. The WR's had to wait and come back for the ball. Most of the shorter passes to T Rob where pretty good.

Man, it would be nice to have Brodus back this season as kicker/punter..................

Alcoa has a great program and will only get better with Coach Rankin. You folks in Alcoa also need to realize the job that Coach Rankin does in the administration aspect of the total school. This is from a Smith County person who saw first hand what he did in his home town. Not only did he completely turn the football program around but discipline improved in the school by leaps and bounds. Also while here at Carthage, Coach Rankin started the "All-Academic" banquet to honor the top students. Guess who paid for this banquet? That's right - the athletic dept.

Alcoa is an excellent football program. During the time I lived in the Maryville area I really enjoyed watching them play. I heard they're opening up with Bell County Ky. It will be a true test, they are the defending 4A state champs. Bell county has some very gifted athletes in Matt Raines DB/WR, Josh Brown FB/LB, and John Dudley Hilton LB/TE. I heard that Raines went to a comine and won deffensive MVP and is competing in the state championships for track. But I wish the best of luck for Alcoa and hope they can bring another state championship home..

Hey, Scooter: we absolutely know what we have in Rankin as an administrator. He is exactly what AHS needs in both a coach and administrator.

What Alcoa needs is someone that can be a mentor and leader both on the field and off the field which Rankin is neither of these. He shows nothing but disrespect for he is only worried about himself.

Sir leave those comments at home...have you ever had a conversation with Coach Rankin in person? Apparently not...because if you have, you would be agreeing with everyone else on here by stating the facts---Rankin is a respectful person, a great coach, and a strong school administrator.

Looking back at your previous posts I would venture to say you have a son on the sideline that doesn't see a lot of time on the field.
