forrest had a double header with boyd to get them out of the way. first game was 11-1, second game was 30-1. it got really ugly. forrest also pounded mt. pleasant yesterday with a 12-2 run rule after 5.

MTCS didn't get to play a scheduled DH with White House-Heritage Friday night (field conditions). Page beat the Cougars 9-2. It was 3-2 until the bottom of the 6th when Page blew it open.

Cascade vs. MTCS (at MTCS):

 

Exciting game: MTCS scratches for 1 in the 1st inning; Cascade answers with 2 in the 2nd. Neither team scores until the bottom of the 6th when MTCS ties it up 2-2. Cascade scrambles for 1 in the top of the 7th. Carkuff comes in to close: lead-off double by Pepper, K, K, K. Cascade wins 3-2.

 

We get to do it again tonight in Wartrace.
