boski
This is always a very physical game matching two of Metro's most successful programs of late. Evidently no Boski this year, so I will start the thread. Maplewood has the State's Top O-Lineman and Hillsboro is the defending State Champs. now wait just a min ..there fellow!!! ...boski is home ...ive just been reading up on a summers worth of post.... nothing fancy .. and yes im still rolling with the big cats ...they are still ready to play ..and win ...so donkey rat nation ..your wait is over ...time to defend the crown..Maplewood has top lineman ..and RB ..and another sleeper at RB ..oh yeah its on .. boski
Good luck to all the players who have worked so hard since last Jan. in conditioning and practices. It will be interesting to see how the new defensive scheme works against Maplewood. Both offensive and defensive lines struggled against Overton. Hope things have jelled since last week. its a new defense to some ...but this guy coming from hunters lane with his defense ..who maplewood has beat 2 out of the last 3 years ..is nothing new to the panthers ..they have seen it already ..maplewood wins this one
getarealclue
If the Burro's lose this one they are in for a long season in their new region.
workinprogress
The last drive of the jamboree looked impressive because HHS still had starters in and OHS obviously did not. That drive was no surprise. This one should be close. As many are saying it will go with the trenches. Maplewood should be able to line up and pound the ball. However, HHS has several good looking playmakers on both sides of the ball. Young at QB looked impressive last week as well as a couple of the WR when Overtons second and third string was in. If Young can get some protection this one is a toss up.

jrpfhs21
I was a little surprised by this outcome. How many seniors did Hillsboro lose from last year? They seemed to have a pretty quick offense when I saw them play Franklin first game of the season last year.
