im a clay county man myself so im not a big TROUSDALE fan but my mommy alaways told me

never tug at supermans cape im afraid you are running your mouth about something you no nothing about warrior thi is the defending state dominating chap your talking about i belive they have earned the right to work on a few things before the real season begins friday and as far as being close you have got to be kidding me take your blue glasses of and see you are in for along season you beat two horrible teams and now reality will sink in you play two more weak teams in red boiling and pickett so you may still win two more but thats it

Lets just pray that MC can survive to make it to play TC this yr, MCFOOL. They probably won't be making it that far. And as far as records are concerned.....after Fri. TC will be 2-1...MC will be 2-1...BB will be 2-1..and after Oct 2. FCS will have a loss . And those are arguably the 4 best 2a teams. At least 3 of them (MC is very questionable).

Grunt, you may disagree, but i believe its the defensive scheme thats getting us scored on. You cant rush 3 against 5 and expect to pressure the QB. Our secondary can only cover for so long, then it breaks down. I'd like to see the jackets go back to a 5-2 instead of the 3-4 we've been in all year. Hit that qb a few times, then see how accurate his passes are.

 

Slim, I agree with the scheme aspect...no pressure, but the dbs at times seem lost. Waiting too

long to move to the ball, etc. To give credit where it's due, they did finally get 2 picks... late.

Last years secondary has taken the day off it seems. Last years Gold ball won't win any games this

year. JMHO......

The advantage of the 3-4 is supposed to be disguising where the rusher is coming from. If there is

no rush getting there, it's all for naught.

 

I've been a Steeler fan since they had Bradshaw and were spankin your 'Boys . I know all about the 3-4. The problem i see is that the Steelers use very fast LB. We dont have it. 83 needs to be lining down and wearing one of there boys down. I also saw 52 playing outside LB....and while he's a very good lineman, he's not fast enough to get to the QB or cover a RB. I think 78 has been most improved this yr. When and IF Brent gets back 100 %. The defense will rock. Those stats i posted earlier came from a KY newspaper. I'm not sure of the accuracy. I would like to hear the Stats from Cheese. I coulda swore it was more than 10 penalties. Anyways I hope the boys all realize how much better they have to play to get to Cookeville. And i hope the injury bug stays away.

You must be the town speaker all that BS you CRY about you looking kinda suspect up there after all the great things the Pirates say you bring there Lame also so dont be 2 upset with the truth

 

Sounds to me more like someone whistling in the dark a few days before their annual butt whipping

in SP. Town speakers recognize things like that. You may even learn to like being 1-1.

TC should when this one easily. JC hasn't played anyone yet. They won't put up 40 something points on TC even with TC defencive woes this year. TC will find some defence this week.

Kicking game isn't up to the past 4 yrs. standards just yet, but we have a young lad from Germany,

# 81, that's doing quite nicely. Needs a few kicks under his belt to get into form. Had one from

45, I believe, earlier. Kids' got spirit. Kicks with either foot. LOL A work in progress.

Really!! Dang, I was going to stay home & watch Law & Order reruns. Now I guess I'll have to go to

the game to see this "huge upset". Don't see something like that everyday. Thanks for the heads

up. Whew!! And to think I almost missed the greatest upset of the season.
