It's not that I would not like to see Tyner win but I don't think you are right. Ooltewah beat Tyner 36-0 then Baylor beat Tyner 41-6. Tyner did beat Hixson but Hixson is awful. If McCallie has anything they should beat Tyner going away. I say:

McCallie 28

Tyner 7

 

Tyner may have struggled early but I don't see McCallie slowing the Rams down like Ooltewah. Tyner will break out big in this game.

The word seems to be that The Ooltewah defense is really good but I also heard that Tyner coughed the ball up against Ooltewah as well. It's hard to beat anyone if you cannot hold onto the ball. If Tyner can hold onto the ball, I think they are going to move the ball against a lot of teams. They have a couple of very quick backs.

 

I have not seen McCallie in the regular season but in the jamboree they looked really good--very fundamental and really well coached. Tyner could surprise but from what I have seen they are going to have a tough time against a fundamental football team like McCallie.

Tyner is usually speedy. I'm not sure if they have any stars this year, but sometimes a lack of a "star" makes for a better team. I do know Coach Turner will do his best to have them keep improving and it will be interesting to see what they have on Friday.

 

I don't know if the ram train will completely derail, (we wouldn't mind a few turnovers to bounce our way :popcorneater: ) but I think the blue will pull it out.

Just another brutal non region game for Tyner. Tyner's defense has not been playing well up to this point giving up around 37 points a game. I don't think it will be a blowout, I think Tyner could actually win; but they are going to have to limit turnovers and get off to a good start in the first quarter. McCallie is the better team, the Rams are going to have to limit McCallie's possessions.

Tough loss for Tyner but a great comeback win for McCallie. The "Big Blue" looked totally lifeless in the first half but turned it on in the second. McCallie's sophmore QB Lutz is doing a great job but they really miss Rush and his running ability. I'm afraid it will be exposed in the Ensworth game but I'll still hope for the best. Watching Tyner last night, it is hard to imagine how they were beaten so soundly by Baylor, etc. They looked pretty decent and should pull some surprises. The fish sandwich at Tyner is to die for btw.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
