Yet the denial continues......now that is funny..... :roflol:

MLREB your something else. You my friend have serious issues. Alcoa has always had out of zone kids. When we played in 2a with 400 kids ( we should have been in 1a) know one was talking about the out of zoned kids then. Its just because we have been so successful the last few years. I laugh at people that want to bring this up. You look at any successful program in baseball, football, softball, or basketball and kids come from every where to play for that program. Whether its Flatrock Alabama's softball team or CAK soccer team or ALCOA and Maryville's football teams. You should know this as much as any considering Maryville has had hundreds of out of zone kids the last 20 years.

As for Alcoa in the top 100, congrats. However in my opinion this should have come a lot sooner. In the last six years we have only been beat 6 times. 5 by Maryville and once to Fulton. We all know how good Maryville was and Fulton won the 3a championship that year. Just my own opinion. :thumb:

With open district lines Alcoa should be able to compete with anyone in the country. Congrats for the honor, but there should be a separate classification for schools that can draw players from outside the school district boundries

so were back to that again huh. How about just saying good congrats and leave it at that without trying to throw the little dig in about open zone stuff. This is a great honor for those kids who have worked really hard.

Wow how old is that argument. How many times do we have to tell you people that the majority of the kids that play and make a big impact are from alcoa. We have 500 kids in our school and we still can beat anyone in any classification in the state. I hate to hear all the whining. You have to pay tuition if you go alcoa from outside the city limits. The city limits are so small and if they would expand them to where they should be then there wouldnt be hardly any tuition atheletes. So please do your research and quit that crying. Its old and played out. Look at our atheletes who are playing d1 and who have played d1 they are from alcoa.

    • Wiz, could you kindly inquire of MP whether my pork shoulder has completed its duration in the smoker? My appetite has been piqued, and I eagerly await its readiness. Regrettably, it appears that despite my attempts at communication, there has been no response forthcoming from him.
    • Given your evident depth of knowledge on coaching matters, I'm intrigued to hear your perspective on who you believe would be the most suitable candidate for the position.
    • If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..
    • I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.
    • I don’t know how Huntingdon did vs Creekwood varsity today but I did hear the Huntingdon middle school girls beat Creekwood and Westview JV teams by 30 both games today.
