How will it end up? How will Franklin County and Tullahoma do with their new coaches? Where is all the 8AAA support?

Hey Tidefan, I am a little biased but i see Law. Co. #1 when it is all over. Shelbyville may be the one to beat (as it is every year), but it seems when you look at the talent, LCHS has the pieces to make a 3 or 4 year run in 8aaa.

This year will be interesting indeed with new coaches in the district. I hope for the sake of all the girls playing that it will be a highly competitive season for each. It will be very telling how Tullahoma's new coach, Steve Jobe will define his coaching career in this maiden voyage year. Lots of seniors at THS.

That being said, in the next year or so, Coach Jobe will have an onion of a team, will he peel back the layers to make the best decisions talent wise to let the team mature and prosper? Time will tell...

Can someone remind us who the new Columbia coach is and where they are from? Also, how many girls are there. How's it going so far? I see Rachel Moore is V.P. at E O Coffman Middle.

Wow! Predicting Shelbyville 5th. How can that happen?

 

Not the same Shelbyville team that they have had in the past. Saw an article in the local paper there that Coach Burkey was looking at Tennessee Tech for a assistant coaching position but decided to stay in Shelbyville.

Lawrence Co is definately the team to watch this year with all but one player returning from last years District Champion Team. It will be a lot of fun watching Jordan Luffman lead this team into her senior year!!

I agree Lawrence Co. is the team to beat with all the returning players and then add freshman Aryanna Gilbert and Abby Clayton to the mix giving them alot of talent and depth at each position.

Law County has to be the favorite but I would not be surprised if Lincoln County gives them a run for their money. Really good ball team down in Fayetteville this year. They have put together a tough schedule and it should help them tremendously come tourney time.
