GREAT JOB BY MY LADY WARRIORS tonight Unfortunatly i only saw the 4th QTR but my wife kept me updated as the game went on This was a big win for us as it is 1 step closer to our goal

Hey Riverdaleman, I've only seen 2 of the RD games, but I haven't seen or heard much about Rachel this year. Is she injured or something? She is such a great player and person on and off the court and has a wonderful attitude.

Good job Lady Rines tonight....Oakland played a good game, hung around & made a game out of it.

Barrett is shooting the ball well for Oakland, good job. Also, the post player, is going to be tough the next few years, like her game, really physical on the inside.

 

For LaVergne, way to step up seniors JB, JD, Quinta & Steph....it's almost your last hurrah, let's do this the next 3 games!!

Hey Riverdaleman, I've only seen 2 of the RD games, but I haven't seen or heard much about Rachel this year. Is she injured or something? She is such a great player and person on and off the court and has a wonderful attitude.

I love Rachel she is a great girl with a great family and always works hard she plays some and fills her role each time she is out there

I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to bawl Monday night. Jazzy I expect sympathy tears from you! :lol:

OH YEAH YOU GONNA BE CRYIN LIKE A BABY when you walk onto that court with your baby girl!!! You will suddenly forget how mad she made you the other day and think of how wonderful and beautiful she is and you will LOSE it lol. I have boys so i am sure girls are tougher to let go than boys lol

Yeah, and since she'll probably go out of state for college, I'm probably going to really let loose. She told me she will talk to me on the phone every day when she leaves, I don't know how long that will last though. :popcorneater:

So, the Blackman vs LaVergne game next Monday will be Blackman's Sr nite??....oh shucks, I might be crying with you!!

I have really enjoyed watching the girls over the years. Monday night will be emotional for momma, that's for sure. Nevertheless, when one door closes, another opens. We, as parents, will just pick up and move on the next chapter of our lives. I wish ALL of the Seniors nothing but the best.

 

Now cross your fingers. When I typically say something on the D7AAA thread, it gets closed down shortly thereafter. :thumb:

      Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.

      I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first?       The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..

      I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
