Kingston has a solid football tradition. Last years team was good. I haven't seen them play this year, but I hear they are young and not nearly as good as last year's team. Even at their historical best they probably wouldn't beat the current version of Tornados. Hopefully it will be a good game with no injuries, but Alcoa should leave Roane County with their #1 ranking intact.

Where is the Kingston guy who was talking so much trash during the spring and summer months? The moment of truth will arrive for him and a few short days.

Alcoa: 42

Kingston: 0

If I remember right that guy never said Kingston would beat Alcoa he only said they would not go down by 50. Well I don't think he had seen this years team :roflol: . they are very young, not very big no Sr leadership but they do play with pride they are in rebuilding mold. Looking forward to seeing the F-5 this year.

Classy post wpasi; hope that all the kids have a great time and that there is reason to have pride on both sides of the ball. Looking forward to coming to Kingston - very nice people there. Even though I predicted a high scoring game, I wish the best for the Jackets.

This one will be closer than the experts think. Alcoa will win, but KINGSTON is tested. They have been playing FULTON, CATHOLIC, AE, Anderson County for the past 10 years. Don't be surprised if this is close.

The Kingston team from the past two years would play Alcoa tight, but this year's Kingston team is young... they lost a lot. I hope they make a game out of it, but I doubt it. :roflol:
