Dekalb county wins this one. Don't think york can score with dekalb offense. Even in.jamestown.

You may be right but I believe York will try to make Poteete's life a living .... ! Anybody that has played up there or watched a game knows that it's a very hard place to play. I'm sure the Dragons won't roll out the purple carpet for Poteete and the Tigers. I'm thinking he will be on his back every play if at all possible. :popcorneater:

Obviously you haven't seen the kid play yet !! very slippery to say the least!

Obviously your right but I know several people in the know that has and I also can read statistics. I believe all the talk is about how he can scramble out of trouble and hit a receiver 50 yrds down field after the defender comes up to make play on him. I believe his passing yards out weigh his running yrds. That's why I would rather have him running than throwing !! :roflol:

York will have 2 players be major factors in the outcome of this game, their 2 defensive ends that is. IF they can contain Poteete (really big if) & make him stay inside long enough for some help (D line or backers) to show up then their chances look a lot better. Fact is DC's pass blocking, while pretty good, is not great. If Poteete has to stay put & isn't able to roll out then help will arrive pretty quick for York. Then again just because he is "contained" when help arrives doesn't mean the "help" will be much help. This kid alone is worth the price of admission. That being said I don't think YAI can contain Poteete to the pocket & I don't think YAI's O is explosive enough to hang with DC's O. I'm going with DC in this one. I'm not predicting a blow out but I think it will be decisive.

If it's not too wet...this game will be a shootout. Dekalb is not very good against the run. Dekalb's offense can score on anybody. Poteete is very good...very difficult to defend. Dekalb's receivers are solid. A wet field could hurt both offenses. I think Dekalb wins 42-35.

Weather is great, advantage goes to DeKalb. DeKalb scores at least 5 TD's and comes out with the win. Prediction DeKalb wins 35-26.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
