Slay transfers to Ensworth!! :o

heard that the Seymour stand-out Christina Slay has transferred to Ensworth High School in Nashville. Wow ensworth is going to have a decent team!! But can you do that?? and still be eligible to play??

I can't imagine a round trip to Ensworth every school day so I'm sure they'd be moving and she'd be eligible.

If the summer was any indication Ensworth will be very good even without Slay. They have tremendous speed and great play underneath. Knox Webb will be DII small division while Enswoth will be in the large school division of DII so a post season matchup will not occur but maybe they will get a shot at each other during regular season.

This is old news. Someone was on this site last spring saying they were recruiting this years squad and I thought it was a boy but the poster said it was a girl. Look for others in the Martin to Jackson area.

So you are saying that Ensworth recruited this student from Seymour to tranfer to Ensworth just to play basketball. That accusation is ridiculous. The problem is that some other idiot out there will quote your statement as fact.

 

Of course you and the anonymous someone that you reference don't have any facts or evidence to back up your accusations.

Ms. Slay is an exceptional young lady and a very gifted basketball player. Hope she has continued success in her new home and her new school. It is thrilling to watch her play with her hard work ethic and her positive can-do attitude. Good Luck Ms. Slay!
