Bledsoe will have to work hard for this week and keep bringing it like they have to beat this harriman team.I don really know much about Harriman except for their record which is 5-1 just like the Warriors of bledsoe county. I am sure bledsoe county is still hungry for this winning season they are set on and i don think they will be denied!!!!!!!!

Bledsoe Def was shown last week that it has problems stopping the run. Seq. had over 350 yards ruching a 7yds a carry. However, I think Seq. Co is better then Harriman. So bledsoes Def will play well enough and win. I think Bledsoe establishes the run well enough to go to there play action game that hurt the Indians late in the game. Bledsoe wins this one bigger then some people think. Best of luck to both teams.

I watched the Harriman/Tellico game and was impressed with Harriman's D, but there offense was lackluster. There were many questionable def holding calls in that game (by the way, anyone ever seen a def hold called in the backfield? LOL). Harriman only managed to score a fg in the 2nd half.

Bledsoe County: This is how you stop Harriman on D.

Just focus on #4 and you will have a great chance. From what I seen, he was the only player on offense worth a penny.

I don't agree at all. Bledsoe beat Coalfield by a touchdown, Tellico Plains beat Coalfield badly and Harriman beat Tellico Plains-you do the math. Yes, Harriman tends to be one dimensional with the run; but they have more athletes than just #4 and they are pretty big up front. Who knows-but I think Harriman takes this one.

I don't agree at all. Harriman has 3 or 4 running backs that run the ball hard and good and are fast! If you just key on #4 then you will get beat because he isn't the only player on that team, there are athletes all on that Harriman team but too much speed and defense is the reason why the big blue win this one!!!!!!! :roflolk:

If thats the case then Dunlap shoulda won that game fri nite. They beat Marion and Marion beat us.The truth is we may of had a bad nite against coalfeild. Tellico may of played outa there mind against coalfeild and had an off nite at Hairman.Thats why they play the game Bledsoe is getting better each week hope they continue that trend tonight it will be a tough one GO BIG BLUE!!!

Well I hate to be a "BUZZKILLER" but this is the game Bledsoe historically(last 10 years) overlooks. Examples: Cannon a couple years back, Upperman last year, so on & so forth. The good news is even after the loss tonight, the Blue are still in the drivers seat for the district Championship. Bledsoe loses this one by 22, if I am wrong, which I hope I am, then I guess the new regime has taken more strides than meets the eye, if I am correct, then they still got work to do! 8-2 and a district championship, nothing to hang your head about.1 - 9 to 9 - 1 would be nice but don't see it happening. Geaux Warriors.

well, i hope your wrong...because i think rockwood is better than harriman....and as far as over looking a team, don't think they will.....this team is playing pretty good, but the thing i like the most is they are playing it one game at a time....after the game at dunlap i ask my nephew what he thought about being in the drivers seat to win the dictrict and he said....so....we just beat dunlap....he said we are just playing one game at a time......and that the best way to go about it.....don't think about play-offs....just play ball and see where you are at the end of the season.......GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
