Which is no guarantee that they will...but if they did...where would that put them in the playoff scene? Would it keep them from having to play some highly ranked team in the first round or two??

My best guess (that's all it is) is that District 12 4A teams will be put in the Playoff Quadrant with Districts 9, 10, 11, and 12. Makes sense from a geographical stand point.

 

Districts 9, 10 and 12 will have 2 automatic qualifiers while District 11 will have 1 automatic with maybe 2 if Creekwood and Montgomery Central end up 1st and 2nd in that District.

 

That would give this Quadrant 7-8 teams.

Each Quadarant has 8 teams.

If Giles wins out they would have a 1 seed and would play a 2 seed or wild card team 1st round from District 9, 10 or 11.

If Page or SH wins out they would be 2 seed and would play a 1 seed from District 9, 10 or 11.

 

However this is the TSSAA Playoff, so who knows.

This is a "new" deal for everyone. there are going to be too many good teams left out and weak teams slipping in.....no doubt
