Predictions? What are the keys matchups to this game? Spring hill has athletes, but so does marshall. Any mismatches?

Marshall got their first win last week, so they will have some confidence coming into this game.

They appear to be able to throw the ball fairly well and have a couple of receivers that looked pretty quick on film against East.

Spring Hill will be coming off a bye week.

They are completely healthy. All the little bangs and bruises from a 7 game stretch are healed.

They have been on fall break, but continued to practice, although last week was a little lighter than normal. More technique work and less full contact stuff.

They started on Monday like a normal week of practice to prepare for MC.

If SH doesn't committ turnovers and protects the football, I think SH has a good chance to win this one.

Now that MC players have returned from their long trip away this game should answer a lot of questions for both teams. SH will know how much improvement they have made and MC either shouts out one and done or we're back in blue. Being that the game is at Marshall we know the lights will go out, the scoreboard will malfunction, one of the goal posts may tip over, and there may be a mud race going on at the same time in the south parking area.

:D

If SH can keep their composure during the conductions of the antics of the Marshall County faithful, I'll say SH by 10.

B)

I've been to MC one time, few years ago, to see my nephew play them (Dvd Lip) and we sat in the infield of the baseball field. It was a wierd set-up. Has it changed? I guess it worked. I'll bring my 4WD and play with them :D

52-0 is indeed a very bold prediction, but after the way i saw spring hill put up 55 points on east hickman in the first half i wouldnt be surprised. #13 should have his way with marshalls defense, via ground and air. He has two good reliable targets in #5 and #12. spring hill takes this one 42-7

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
