sticknmove15
I may be heading over this game on Friday night because Valley and North play Thursday and it's too far of a drive to Johnson County. How do you see this one shaping up? I heard East has a lot of injuries. What's the update? Any key kids coming back?
catballer
It's a real tossup. East has been on a slide since their 1st string running back got hurt early, and the pounding they took last week against Hampton did help things much. QB (Depew) is still very gimpy but may try to start, and other key starters are tentative. The Coach (Nelson) lost his cool late in the Hampton game (on a justified bad call), but the game was well out of range by then. His players followed with a personal foul on the PAT kicker (and holder). I figured they were just gonna stop the game at that point. Just not a good night. The good thing for East and Unicoi, unless a sinkhole opens on the field tonight, somebody's gonna come out with a win. I am not sure what team needs it most. I have heard rumors that if Unicoi does not turn things around, football could be a thing of the past. Oh, btw, it's homecoming at east tonight.......so you get more than the price of admission. pujo
Got a feeling that East is quite a bit better than Unicoi, seasons like these 2 schools are having does make it hard to stay focused and pumped up. East wins prett big.
