BoardHater71
Yes it should be an interesting meeting on Friday in Ashland City. On Saturday I believe the CCCHS basketball coaches have a prior engagement that will not allow them to be able to make the trip to WCHS. That is just what I have heard but I could be wrong. I know last week Cheatham County had to schedule a game from Friday night to Thursday night to accomodate Stewart County.

Crowe-Harpeth Craig-Stewart Smith-Waverly Deason-CW Centrals big post-cant think of his name Co-Mvp- Hyndman/Dotson- Be hard to give award to a player on a team with losing record. BoardHater71
District 11-AA Standings 1.) Creek Wood (11-0) 2.) Waverly Central (6-5) 2.) Harpeth (6-5) 4.) Montgomery Central (5-5) 5.) Camden Central (5-6) 6.) Stewart County (4-6) 7.) Cheatham County (0-10) Weekend Schedule Cheatham County @ Montgomery Central Creek Wood @ Harpeth Stewart County @ Camden Central Montgomery Central @ Stewart County Cheatham County @ Waverly Central Tiebreaking Information Camden Central swept Montgomery Central Montgomery Central swept Harpeth Harpeth swept Camden Central Waverly Central swept Stewart County Waverly Central & Montgomery Central split Waverly Central & Camden Central split Waverly Central & Harpeth split Harpeth & Stewart County split Stewart County won 1st meeting against Camden Central (teams meet again on Friday night) Montgomery Central won 1st meeting against Stewart County (teams meet again on Saturday night) Creek Wood is the best team in the district. They beat Montgomery Central tonight on the road 70-30. The game wasn't even that close. Creek Wood could have won by 60+ had they wanted to do so. #2 did clear up somewhat tonight and by tomorrow night's end we could have a very good idea who the #2 seed will be come tourney time. Waverly Central could potentially be the #2 seed out of the district by the end of tomorrow night's action If Waverly Central beats Cheatham County & Camden Central beats Stewart County then the Waverly Central Tigers will be the #2 seed If Montgomery Central beats Cheatham County + Stewart County & Stewart County beats Camden Central then the Montgomery Central Indians are #2 If Harpeth beats Creek Wood + Camden Central beats Stewart County + Montgomery Central loses to either Cheatham County or Stewart County then the Harpeth Indians are #2 If Camden Central beats Stewart County + Montgomery Central loses to either Cheatham County or Stewart County + Harpeth loses to Creek Wood + Waverly Central loses to Cheatham County then the Camden Central Lions are #2 If Waverly Central loses to Cheatham County + Montgomery Central loses to Cheatham County & Stewart County + Harpeth loses to Creek Wood + Camden Central loses to Stewart County then Waverly Central would be #2 (this would be true because Waverly Central wasn't swept by a common opponent this season while all of those other teams were swept by a district foe)[/i]
BoardHater71
Other scores tonight were Creek Wood over Montgomery Central 70-30 & Harpeth over Camden Central 46-
BoardHater71
Friday Night's Games Creek Wood @ Harpeth Cheatham County @ Montgomery Central Stewart County @ Camden Central Creek Wood is going for perfection tonight in Kingston Springs but Harpeth is in line to land the #2 seed out of the district if they can win at home and get some help. Montgomery Central is still in line to land the #2 seed themselves with wins tonight and tomorrow night but can they rebound from a bad loss? Cheatham County has been playing much better of late. Camden Central still has an outside shot at a #2 seed and to keep those hopes alive they have to find a way to win tonight at home. If Stewart County wins tonight and tomorrow then they could potentially vault to a #4 seed in the district and send Camden sliding as far as to a #6 seed. 33balfan
The Tennessean has Cheatam County beating Montgomery Central 56-54. Camden beating Stewart County 60-46 Creekwood beating Harpeth 58-
BoardHater71
1.) Creek Wood (12-0) 2.) Waverly Central (6-5) 3.) Harpeth (6-6) 4.) Camden Central (6-6) 5.) Montgomery Central (5-6) 6.) Stewart County (4-7) 7.) Cheatham County (1-10) Creek Wood is the #1 seed If Waverly Central wins they are the #2 seed; if Montgomery Central beats Stewart County then Waverly Central is the #2 seed If Cheatham County beats Waverly Central & Stewart County beats Montgomery Central then Harpeth is the #2 seed If Montgomery Central beats Stewart County then Montgomery Central is the #3 seed (because they will have swept Stewart County while Harpeth & Camden split with Stewart County) If Stewart County beats Montgomery Central then Harpeth is the #3 seed (assuming Waverly Central beats Cheatham County) Stewart County is the #6 seed Cheatham County is the #7 seed
ksgovols
There's a quote from an old 80's movie, Meatballs with Bill Murray..... "It just doesnt' matter! It just doesn't matter! It just doesn't matter!" Woody the Wabbit won't go very far in the post season. I just don't see it. Well, here's the exact quote and it was 1979 if that matters..... Tripper: And even if we win, if we win, HAH! Even if we win! Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days; even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at our side of the field; even if every man woman and child held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't matter because all the really good looking girls would still go out with the guys from Mohawk because they've got all the money! It just doesn't matter if we win or we lose. IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! Rest of group: IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER...
