GP is the 1 seed over Elizabethton because they both won their respective districts, but GP had a better overall record... Or at least thats how I think it works..

They didn't win their district, Austin East was the district winner. GP was the # 2 seed.

Austin East is 3A and they were 6-0 in district and GP was 5-1 in the district so they finished 2nd. TSSAA is lost on this.

That makes no sense what so ever then. Elizabethton was first in their district. GP was not. So according to the T$$AA, Elizabethton should have a higher seed than GP...
