like i said earlier, if pc and wc wins then we will talk about our qbs but if i was pc i would be worried about jb or you wont have to worry until next year!

thanks blocker i was beginning to think this was the qb thread not perry cty and joByrns :roflol:

Sorry for the miss spelling of your schools name.I used a u instead of the y. Wouldn't it be just as close to go to Ashland city to JB than to stay on 13 all the way in to clarksville. Please let me know if this would be incorrect. Our coaches have not completely used the correct defensive game plan in several of the big games PC has played in all year. I'll start with the East Game Many players totally out of position {that said there was to their credit a whole lot of inexperience on the field that night including the coaches, but as the season progressed the coaches and players made some very good changes} One of which included having faith in their field goal kicker. they also have moved players around considerable on the defensive side of the ball and a complete makeover of their offensive schemes. The only position that really hasn't been used nearly as effective is a Tight End,sure they bring a player in every now and then to block but what about someone to catch a short 5-7 yard pass. Where is this part of your offense. I know they have players that can block and have great hands to catch a pass like this.

If pc can contain jb running game and not get caught up in the moment they could make a game of this . Things will have to be perfect but what team should feel the pressure You boys from pc should just realize its there for the taking ,play hard stay on assignment and let the cards fall as they may ,YOU NEVER KNOW!!!!!!! EVeryone have a safe trip and let's have a injury free game. GOOd luck to both TEAMS!!!!!

cobroa: from Lobelville, you can just get on 40, go to 24 and go north. May be more miles, but will be quicker. Depends on whether you worry about time or about miles.

what is this teams secondary look like bc if pc comes out stackin the box we may see adkins sling a few down field and really open up the playbook

The secondary is solid they gave up a couple big pass plays to c'ville after Pc had gotten a big lead and they kinda went to sleep. Im not sure how tall Jo Byrns receivers are but Pc's corners/safeties are pretty short so they may be pretty productive just throwing it up and letting taller receivers go up and get it cause I don't think the wr will be fast enough to burn them. Personally If I was the coach I would just tell the rb before the game your our work horse tonight and your going to carry us to victory.

well our recievers arent very tall they are all extremely athletic 17 can catch just about any pass you can throw to him... and our tight end is built like a reciever and has solid hands and is very quick

I have been reading in my book about this game. Those Joe Byrnes boys are real big ole boys that are strong and fast too. Joe Byrnes has that Ashabraner boy that was the Robertson County Player of the Year last year. He rushed for 1522 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also is a real good pass catcher. He caught 20 passes last year. He also had 91 tackles and 4 INT. This boy is a real good boy and player. Let me ask you a question. what colleges are looking at this boy to come run the ball for them? This boy is a real good runner that has good stats. Joe Byrnes has some big boys on the line like Wayne Helm who is 6 ft 3 inches and 262 pounds and Shelton who is 6 ft 2 inches and 215 pounds. My Murphy Fair book says the best year they had was last year in 2008. According to Murphy they have a chance to do just as good this season. They are a real good team I garuntee you that. Let me ask you Joe Byrnes people a question. Is this Coach Adkins making those boys lift alot of weights this week? He needs to make them lift alot of weights to make them real strong for the game on Friday. This Perry team might be in for a bad night I am afraid. They have one real good boy named Jacob Tucker. He is 6 ft 0 inches and 175 pounds. He is a sophomore so he still has alot of growing to do. Mercer rushed for 1200 yards last year and is one of the fastest boys they have. They have one real huge boy named Belasic that is 6 ft 5 inches and 290 pounds. This boy is real big and strong. Let me ask you Perry people a question. Is Tennessee or Vanderbilt looking at this big ole boy? Since he is such a big and strong boy they should be looking at him for the college team. You think im joking because I am not. Those big ole strong boys are good players for the college teams to get. I think this Belasic boy can knock a hole for those runners to run through but I think he might be the only big boy they have that can knock a good hole for the runners. That coach at Perry should make those boys jump rope and chase chickens or rabbits this week at practice. If the boys can catch a chicken or rabbit then they can catch a real fast boy like Joe Byrnes has this year. If the boys jump rope it will also make them fast for the game on Friday.

Belasic IS being looked at by colleges such as Alabama, Vanderbilt, Duke, UCLA, Cincinnati, Louisville, WKU...

These boys from PC are gonna make some noise in the next couple years. Every game I see another kid that is gonna play next year. Around PC basketball has always been #1 and may still be .Making playoffs and winning a playoff game will do wonders for next years team. PC has had 7 wins this yearI sure would like to see one more. GO Perry Co. Vikings

Agreed! But if you don't go the I-40/24 route DO NOT go the Ashland City route. Dickson to Clarksville to Adams may be curvy in spots, but it's nothing compared to Hwy 49 from Charlotte to AC.

Cobroa If you go to Ashland City on 49 out of Charlotte it will take you about 40 min to get to Ashland City. I live off Hwy 48 half way from Dickson and Clarksville and it takes me around 45 mins to get to Jo Byrns High School and I take 48 into Clarksville. I can take the back roads and hit Hwy 13 in 15 mins and it about the same to get to Jo Byrns.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
