The predictions will be difficult this year with several news schools in DII A. Results tonight had FRA beating Goodpasture 70-45. Freshman Derica Wyatt scored 26 points and Abby Wharton scored 19 for FRA. They out rebounded Goodpasture 31-16, hit 52% from the field and 75% FT. A good start for FRA that was 22-6 last year. They have 3 juniors, a senior and a freshman starting. I don't know where FRA will place but they play strong aggressive basketball.

Just as strong as people feel about Ensworth winning DII AA..... That should be the same sentiment for Lausanne winning DII A, yes... I am aware of all the new teams, but Lausanne in a landslide!

Get ya popcorn :roflolk: ready,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I seem to remember that same exact prediction last season. Did Lausanne win the title? :o

Ensworth is a strong program with a good coach but we at JPII aren't ready to just hand it to them. We beat them down the stretch last year and we are a better team than last year. We beat a solid Hunters Lane on the road Tuesday up 20 midway through the 3rd quarter. Carpenter of Ensworth is a good player that's hard to guard but they don't have anyone to guard Paige Baechle. Our region is still down as BA is solid, HH and BGA graduated a lot and Ryan is not good. Outside of 3 experienced seniors we're all freshmen and sophomores so we'll stumble here and there and Ensworth will be the team to beat. There's just not the gap that you may think. Good luck to all.

Ensworth isn't really a part of this thread since they are II-AA, but there is no way that JPII even comes close to competing with Ensworth period. I'm not a fan of either team, but an objective outsider. Ensworth should win II-AA state easily.

You're right about one thing, this is on the wrong thread. I'll respond on the correct thread
