dadtimesfive
I know the int's dont help, but there were alot of missed tackles for losses that really would have helped. How ever it turns our congrats on a great season from your friends in Giles County. Hang around tomorrow and help us try and bring home the Gold Ball, we are going to need all the help we can get. I was at Sams BAr and Grill tonight most folks felt like Columbia had the better team. However Beech proved to be a real Blue Collar Team, Congrats Bucs! WE MADE THEM PUT IT ON THE BIG SCREEN! THEY WERE NOT GOING TO DO IT AT 1ST!
futbolfan
Looks like Columbia's home-cookin refs missed the bus. It's hard for them to win when the oppositions td's aren't getting called back. Congrats Beech!

Verb58
Knowing how to beat Beech and actually doing it are 2 different things. If I'm not wrong I don't think Beech had a lost TO since losing to Gallatin in week 8. They really did a great job of playing as team. They never relied on just 1 or 2 players to get the job done. JOB WELL DONE BEECH. Congrats..Will have to teach you the secret state title team handshake and welcome you to the club. 4 teams from Sumner County with State titles..Beech, Portland, White House, and Gallatin's 3. Plus H-ville's 2 runner ups, Portland's 1, WH's 1 and Gallatin's 3. Sumner County may not have the flash of WilCo, and Rutherford but we still play good ball up here north of 40. bilbob
Congrats Bucs from Trousdale Co.! First one ever. Roger Holmes would be proud. Columbia would have won this game but refs didn't help them out like previous 4 weeks. They should have got beat in round 1 by Cleveland but those Columbian refs . tandem
BEECH BEECH BEECH BEECH......BUCS BUCS BUCS BUCS Not bad for a bunch of undersized sophs and jrs. All they do is exactly what they did tonight....play their guts out. And here's a little secret that Columbia found out tonight, we can pass the ball as well as run it. Columbia's d was pretty good particularly against the run. You can stop us for a while, but eventually we will get our yards on the ground (274 I think). It's been that way for the last two months. You go comfortably into the 4th thinking you are clearly the better team, and we just continue to pound it down your throat. ANd the next thing you know, games over, we win. Even after the game, you probably think "we were better than them". That's ok, keep thinking that, we got the Gold Ball. The Columbia qb is a good player, and their receivers are good as well. But looking at the qb's td to int ratio, I had hoped that the Beech secondary could get a few picks. Boy, did they ever. He seemed to get a little rattled when Beech got pressure on him and he chunked it to us 4 times. Congratulations Bucs. It was an amazing year for a team that didn't even score for the first six quarters it played this year. Coach Crabtree is coach of the year in my book.
