GOSQHS i SAID IT MIGHT BE A RUMOR,if you will go back and read about the coachs meeting.But if you all have, i would like to know what offense and what defense you all are going to try and run this spring.JUST CURIOUS.You should know if you all have been meeting,Liston i support SEQ.and its staff thats why i went and watched most of the games last year.I want the kids to succeed.And if you are a coach which you have never said for sure,i think i know what position you coach.I say to you i respect what your doing people don't know how hard it is,but some advice never t

talk about kids on here that play or who have played,that will get you in hot water,and a coach just does not do that.and be careful about SLOBBER he talkes a big game but hides behind SCREENNAME TO DO IT.Thers a reason why he does it.So be careful on who you trust.

Unless your trying to make you something your not,why not just tell who you are, if you are a coach,i just had simple questions about defense and offense,when i was coaching out there i didn't hide it and don't understand why you do,i said i support you in what you do.Now if you are fibing a little i can understand why you won;t say,but if you are a coach why hide it,not unless your ashamed about it.And if your ashamed you shouldn't be there coaching.

hmm...take a few days away from CoachT and it always blows up...seems like the Sequoyah thread is always something to read...can anyone confirm Coach Marsh (from Clinton) as the new coach for Sweetwater? Not sure if I like hearing that, his offense was wide open, but he had some good athletes up there...had a interesting conversation with someone who knows Slobber, he let his name slip to me and then try to back track and act like he didnt know him. I'm thinking he graduated with the fellow I was talking to, guess he graduated in 04 or 05, didnt we agree to ignore Slobber or did we all make good ....was told T. Dyer will be back this year....saw McMinn Central practicing last week at a track meet down there, not very big, except for one lineman, runningback group had one kid with some moves and power, QB's look young, good speed at wideout but really small, overall they looked average (think they lost alot from last years team), does anyone know if their kicker comes back? Well, look like another football season is upon us, hopefully i can keep me cool this year...GO CHIEFS!!!

Yes it is Marsh at Sweetwater.Hes the one Gregory was fixing to hire at SEQ.And some people kept talking to SLOBBER so that went out the window.And if you get a chance give me a call at the lot,and i figure the lake is back to its normal level now.Tell big Bell i'm proud of him .That class has excelled.There all doing well it was a special group.My boy just got home from The Citadel,i'm proud of him.HE will be home for three and a half months and then he goes back for sophmore year.

I saw Big Bell at A+W the other night and he looked and sounded great. He is running second team guard behind a senior named Hannibal lol at Tusculum! He seemed very happy and content with where his life is right now and that was great to see. I am very very proud of him. That was such a great group to coach with Bell, Steinhart,Roberts, Peels, and Workman, you could get all up in there ear hole one minute then they would have you wanting to fall down laughing the next. They were truly a band of brothers, Could have been a really special group if it had not been taken away from them by several disgruntled parents worrying about what underachieving little Johnny did not get GIVEN to them. I cant wait till the school board election in August, if the people of 2nd district don't get out and vote to help get rid of all the back room deals that are done with no regard for our kids, then no one should ever complain again. I know some of you will say let it go, but I want let go what a few selfish people STOLE form a group of kids that deserved so much better than what they got served to them by a few stupid adults, who knows,,, with change in the school board several may be looking for jobs!

 

Good to hear that John Ray is back in town, and had a great year at the Citadel, where he will be second in command for his sophmore class! Peels has been invited to a couple of combines and will do well (great feet), and Workman will be at Cumberland.

 

I stopped by practice yesterday and didn't get to see much but the kids seemed to be into it and having fun! Saw Wiggy, Peels, and Zach they looked good! Go Chiefs!

Just wondering.Not heard anything on off.cor.has anyone else.But its offical Berrong is not coaching this year.Hes not there for spring either.Just wondering whos in line for the def.cor.I was out there Monday didn't get to see much caught the tale end of practice,look to be about 20 something kids out there.When is their scrimmage,what day and what time.I know their suppose to scr.N.D.and Cumberland county but don't which one first.

coach wiggins is the defensive coordinator we will run a 4-4 4-3 5-3 6-2 and 3-5. as for the scrimmages we play cumberland county saturday may 22 and notre dame monday may 24
