hey i heard yesterday that smith had offered the defensive coordinator position to coach christian, i believe that is his name and he turned smith down. If that is true that is a shame!!!!!!!!!!

I heard that Christian might not return as a coach after Smith was hired. I don't know if that's true or not, but you can hardly blame Christain for not helping. He has been at MC while all of the head coaches came and went, and then was overlooked for the the head job in favor of Smith. From what I hear Christain is a good man, a good coach, and was well liked by the players.

I heard that Coach Christian said NO but was going to stay on as Teacher. I think that Coach Price is considering the same staying on as Teacher but not coaching or maybe just helping with Jr. High.

I think that the only other coach would be Coach Walker. He coaches Jr. High now.

Well if Christian and Price do not coach that would leave only one job opening for a new asst. coach. Sounds like we may be in for a two man staff. I guess Mooney could coach.
