RMC

Recommended Posts

Pool A: Collins Hill, Norcross, Tucker, Hepzibah

Pool B: Brandon, Parkview, Father Ryan, Grayson

Pool C: Baylor, Kennesaw Mountain, Henry County, Bremen, Loganville, Ola

Presentation by Kyle Maynard, noon

Third through eighth place matches, 3:30 p.m.

First place match, 5 p.m.

Note from Coach Stephen:

The Kyle Maynard duals will start at 9:00 on Wednesday. There are 14 teams,

so we needed to have two pools of 4 and one pool of 6 so that no team would

be sitting out. We had planned to have the final round of matches at 3:30,

but we are going to now break the gym down after that round and go to one

mat under the mat lamp for the championship match.

The pools are subject to change, but the teams are: Collins Hill, Brandon,

Father Ryan (top three seeds), and Baylor, Parkview, Bremen, Henry County,

Hepzibah, Tucker, Norcross, Kennesaw Mountain, Ola, Grayson, and

Loganville.

The schedule could change but it was set up to spread out teams as well as to honor requests from coaches that wanted to wrestle certain teams and also to not wrestle certain teams.

RMC, considering that Ryan has already wrestled Baylor and won that match they aren't going to "request" not to wrestle them. In fact, they don't "request" not to wrestle anyone. However, It is pretty interesting and puzzling that Ryan, Brandon, and Parkview are all in the same pool. I'm sure it's just mere coincidence that 3 teams who have the possibility of winning their own pools, all end up in the same one.

Look.....I don't know. Maybe they'll change...feel free to email Coach Stephens..those are his comments not mine. I just put the information out there.

In the past, when I was closer to the program, the Tennessee teams would always ask to be separated.

And Parkview has no chance of winning any pool....you've obviously not seen them lately. They're old Coach Stromie is at West Forsyth and Coach Buegless is at a new school Archer.

I'll pass on writing to Coach Stephens. As I said they don't refuse or request not to wrestle anyone so it isn't that big a deal, just interesting is all. Looking forward to seeing some good wrestling.

In the past we got requests from Baylor/FR/MBA/McCallie......asking to be spread out. The comment was generally we see each other enough during the year we'd like to see someone else.

Maybe the other Georgia teams are tired of you guys beating up on them and voted you off the island!

I'm just the messenger. I'm sure no one is ever completely happy with the pools. In my opinion CH has a fairly light pool. If it was me, I'd try to add some teams and go to 4 pools of 4.

They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights

As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
