Weather: What's It Doing Where You Are?

The big topic today is the weather. It is just starting to snow in Lawrenceburg after a little sleet and rain earlier.

It has been sleeting and raining for the last three hours, The snow has been knocked down to about 3 inches of ice.

 

Just 12 miles north of me, in Summertown, the elevation is a lot higher than here. They have well over a foot of snow. I saw a picture on WKRN in Nashville of a man in Summertown and the snow was over his knees. I'll try to find the pic and post it.

Power just went for about two seconds and came back on. Will be lucky if it stays on.

There's a little over an inch of snow on the ground in Kingsport and it's snowing steadily. It isn't snowing too fast yet but it seems to be increasing in size.

It is a world of ice here. Power went out from 7:30 last night to about midnight. Tree limbs down everywhere and more breaking every minute but we are OK. Pics in a few minutes.

 

By the way, it is really pretty.

Got about 7-8" in Johnson City overnight. Provided for an exciting time driving to work this morning.
